Can cats and dogs get the hiccups?

hiccups can be obtained by most mammals. It is an involuntary contraction of the diaphragm, and if you’ve got one, you can potentially get the hiccups.

i don’t know a/b cats, but i do know that min. schnauzer gets hiccups, and i’ve seen other dogs with hiccups
