Can cats and dogs get the hiccups?

hiccups can be obtained by most mammals. It is an involuntary contraction of the diaphragm, and if you’ve got one, you can potentially get the hiccups.

    yes they do. its cause they eat their food too fast . juts like humans

    YES! Hiccups can occur in dogs and cats, even more frequently in puppies and kittens. If the hiccups appear abnormal, more frequent, or persistant, you should contact your veterinarian.

    yes , my puppy gets them all the time as she eats all her food in 10 seconds. Shes never not hiccuping!
